Here’s the real timeline from checkout to delivery ; including when you’ll get an order confirmation, when labels print, and why tracking may not update instantly.

What Happens After You Place an Order

  1. Order confirmation ; you’ll receive an email with an order number when checkout is successful
  2. Processing ; your order is packed and prepared for shipment
  3. Label created ; you’ll receive a label created email when the label prints
  4. Carrier scan ; tracking updates once UPS scans the package into their network
  5. Delivery updates ; automated emails for in transit ; out for delivery ; delivered

Processing Time & Cutoff Guidance

  • Typical processing ; 24–48 business hours (Monday–Friday)
  • Goal ; we aim to ship in under 24 hours when demand allows
  • Cutoff guidance ; orders placed after 12:00 PM PST typically ship the next business day
  • Next Day Air timing ; Next Day Air is best placed Monday–Thursday ; Friday orders typically move the following Monday

High-volume periods can extend processing times slightly. If you don’t see tracking immediately, it usually means your order is still in processing.

Tracking Emails ; “Label Created” Explained

Why does tracking sometimes take time to update?
“Label Created” means the label was generated. Tracking updates after UPS performs an origin scan. During busy periods, scans may occur later than the label creation time.

You’ll receive automated emails when your package is in transit, out for delivery, and delivered. If you have questions, include your order number in your message.
